    Product/Editorial Copywriter

      - Full Time at our SF corporate offices

    We're looking for a Copywriter to support Unionmade’s E-commerce and digital marketing efforts, and to chip-in in other areas as needed. This writer will be a component of our creative team and will work with the team to understand goals, strategy, and timelines, and will craft copy that aids our goals through compelling copy, proper tone, and clear messaging.

     

    About The Job:

    • Consistently deliver exceptional, on-brand copy
    • Assist with updating brand voice
    • During delivery season the copywriter is responsible for 15-70 product descriptions per day
    • Provide copy for marketing mailers 3-5 days a week
    • Provide copy for landing pages, social, in-store materials, et al
    • Extract relevant data from sources to make accurate, consumer-ready product descriptions
    • Be a go-to source for in-depth knowledge of our products
    • Escalate any observed issues with site functionality
    • Update and optimize copy as needed
    • Attend scheduled educational events and meetings around product knowledge
    • Incorporate information, as needed, from cross-functional partners to improve Unionmade marketing assets
    • Maintain awareness of deadlines and complete all assigned projects on time
    • Assist other departments and our physical stores as needed

    About You:

    • You have 1 – 3 years of apparel writing experience
    • You are an expert in clear, concise, imaginative copywriting
    • You are familiar with menswear
    • You’re highly organized and able to juggle multiple responsibilities at once
    • You strive to deliver the most compelling and engaging copy possible
    • You understand criticism isn’t personal, it’s to make the work better
    • You are flexible and able to change directions with short notice and identify new priorities

    Warehouse Distribution Associate



    Local high-end apparel retailer is looking for a Warehouse Distribution Associate to join our operations team. The primary focus of this position is the distribution of company product and supplies to and from our warehouse to our 3 bay area stores. This is a full time position with health
    benefits. Business hours are Mon-Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm. Occasional weekends are required.

     


    Our brand isn't typical and neither is our Warehouse Operations Team.  We're a fun, energetic group running a well-organized facility supporting all of our company's departments. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working to meet the changing daily needs of our business while expanding your personal skills and knowledge of retail supply. Our Warehouse Associates work hard and have a good time while doing so. You'll be a great fit if you value quality, professionalism, achieving results, and thinking outside the box while packing them. Loving clothes doesn't hurt either.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Make daily scheduled, pick-ups and deliveries of product
    • and supplies to and from stores, warehouse, off- site storage
    • facilities and local vendors.
    • Assist in-store team with visual display installations and
    • breakdowns.
    • Ensure the delivery van is clean, in good order, and receives
    • scheduled maintenance and gasoline when needed.


    Flex Responsibilities:

    • Assist warehouse team with the receiving, processing and
    • preparation of merchandise to be distributed to stores.
    • Assist warehouse and store team with online order fulfillment
    • including pulling, packaging and shipping of customer
    • orders.
    • Assist in the counting and control of product inventory at
    • multiple locations using inventory software and hand counts
    • Keep warehouse and product organized by brand, type, size
    • or style according to company standards.
    • Assist in warehouse safety maintenance and cleanliness


    Competencies:

    Requirements:
    • 6 months experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse work.
    • Current CA driver's license and clean driving record.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and move 125 pounds.
    • Ability to operate material handling equipment to move product within the van and at delivery locations (ex: dollies).
    • Strong Knowledge of San Francisco Area.
    • Ability to read product labels, write and preform basic mathematics.
    • Ability to transport goods with special handling requirements
    • Ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to follow complex directions and work with minimal supervision.
    • Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
